Description
Product Description
Prilido Cream is a combination of two local anesthetics, Prilocaine and Lidocaine, formulated to provide localized numbness on the skin. It’s commonly used to prevent pain before procedures such as needle insertions, suturing, or minor superficial surgeries. The cream works by blocking nerve signals in the skin, thereby reducing pain sensation.
Uses
- Provides local anesthesia on intact skin before medical procedures
- Used prior to needle insertions, minor surgical procedures, or superficial skin treatments
How to Use
- Clean and dry the affected area.
- Apply a thin layer of Prilido Cream to the area.
- Cover with an occlusive dressing to enhance absorption.
- Leave the dressing in place for at least 2 hours before the procedure.
- Remove the dressing and wipe off any remaining cream before proceeding.
Side Effects
- Application site reactions such as burning sensation, irritation, itching, redness, or rashes.
- These side effects are usually temporary and resolve on their own.
- Consult a doctor if side effects persist or worsen.
